The ACC has received a number of enquiries regarding who can/will do mowing for HVR residents for a fee, here are some suggestions:

2018 Wildfire Season Notice

Since the wild fire season is upon us; and there have been several fires in San Benito County already, it’s time for Hidden Valley Residents to mow their property and road easements.    Please review the following Section from Hidden Valley Rules and Regulations:
 
Section 18:  Lot Maintenance within Hidden Valley:
This section of the R&R’s was adopted by the HVBOD on 06/16/16.  This section was established to preserve property values within HVR.
A.    Each Lot Owner shall be solely responsible for the maintenance of his/her Lot.  Lots are not allowed to become overgrown with grass and weeds because of fire danger and it also affects the economic values of the entire neighborhood.
B.    In order to prevent danger from fires, each Lot Owner must mow their lot and road easements as needed and as practically possible; in order to keep grass and weeds to a minimum. Each Lot Owner shall keep all trees, limbs, hedges, grass and landscaping and free of trash, weeds and other unsightly material. Dead trees, bushes and other dead landscaping must be cleared out and removed.
C.    The Board and the ACC will tour the community each Spring and request Lot Owners to comply with the rules above. Failure to comply will result in a penalty as provided for in Section 14 of the HV R&Rs.
D.    In the event a Lot Owner fails to maintain his/her Lot as required by these rules, the Association shall have the right, but not the obligation, to enter onto the Lot to perform necessary maintenance at the Owner’s expense.
